I had the first unit a couple of years and am well pleased with it. It removes stale basement odors and circulates the air. Second unit was purchased for living area, to clean the air of pet dander and litter box dust in multiple cat household. I like the trifecta of HEPA/charcoal filter/UV lights to kill airborne viruses, and the fact that this manufacturers products are made in America and used in hospital settings. Well built, a bit pricey, but provides excellent performance. Review: Effective, powerful air sanitation/purification – It blow pretty strong and there is a noticeable difference in air quality in the room. It definitely handles the VOCs well. Although I do not have accurate tools to measure the amount of particulates being filtered from the air effectively enough, I do have some potential anecdotal evidence to offer regarding its efficacy. I use it in a large classroom and, despite having sick students in the room who are not always the most hygienic lot, I, personally, have not contracted anything from the students that I am aware of. Of course, I wear a mask and practice some social distancing (as best as I can in a cramped classroom), I feel better having it than not. I suppose that counts for something.
